Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety Fee-for-service
This qualification is suitable for people working in a Work Health and Safety (WHS) role who work to provide leadership and guidance to others and have some limited responsibility for the output of others. The qualification reflects the role of workers who apply a broad knowledge base and well developed skills in a wide variety of contexts and may include coordinators, advisors and facilitators.
The Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) reflects the role of individuals who use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of environments. They apply solutions to a specified range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate informationfrom various sources.
They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others. This qualification would suit a WHS officer in a full-time dedicated role who works under the supervision of a WHS Coordinator or WHS Manager.

Workbooks will be made available for those who prefer to work with hardcopy documents. This course is delivered through a combination of face-to-face class room and online training and assessment. The face-to-face component is delivered over a 10 day period and includes up to 12 months for completion enabling candidates time to demonstrate competency. Competency may be achieved using distance based written and/or electronic delivery and assessment.
02.1 Face-to-FaceThe face-to-face component of this course is delivered over an 10 day workshop. During the 10 days you will complete training with formative and summative assessment activities in the following environments:
• Face-to-Face practical assessment
• Real work experience
Prior to commencement of the face-to-face component of the course, online pre-learning and formative assessment activities must be completed. You will have online support from their trainer and assessor throughout the duration of the course.
03.1 Learner Resource
If you are unable to demonstrate competency in any of your unit activities or during the face-to-face workshop, you will be invited to attend further workshops where you will be provided with support and further opportunities, for practice and to demonstrate the required competencies.

Course Fee - $3,995.00$1,500.00 of the course fee is due upon enrolment and prior to accessing the student online platform. The remaining $2,495.00 is due prior to the eight day practical workshop or once 50% of the course has been completed, whichever occurs first.
