Course enrolment

Start informed. Enrol with confidence.

Review the information that applies to your course, understand your rights and responsibilities, then complete the secure enrolment form below.

Four checks for an informed enrolment.

Enrolment should only proceed after you have received and understood the information relevant to your chosen training.

01

Review your course

Check the code and title, entry requirements, duration, delivery mode, location, schedule, assessment, completion requirements and any licensing information.

02

Confirm suitability

Consider prerequisite skills, language, literacy, numeracy, digital literacy, physical or safety requirements, and any support or reasonable adjustment you may need.

03

Understand every cost

Review tuition and other charges, what is and is not included, payment timing, refund and withdrawal conditions, and any funding or co-contribution arrangements.

04

Answer accurately

Provide complete and current information. Supply supporting documents where requested and ask PTG to clarify anything you do not understand before signing.

Your course page is part of your enrolment information.

The details differ between courses. Before enrolling, return to your chosen course page and read the complete course information, including the items below. If information provided directly by PTG differs from the website, ask us to confirm the current arrangement in writing before proceeding.

Training product code and full title Delivery mode, location and duration Start dates, schedule and attendance Entry and prerequisite requirements Training and assessment arrangements Equipment, technology and other costs Licensing or regulatory requirements Support and reasonable adjustment

Know what your submission records.

Read every section. Items marked "if applicable" only apply when they are relevant to your course, funding or enrolment arrangement.

Submitting the form is an application to enrol.

It does not, by itself, guarantee acceptance, government funding eligibility, a place in a particular intake, a competency outcome, employment, or the grant of any external licence or certificate of competency.

01 Course information and suitability What you have reviewed before enrolling

By submitting your enrolment, you declare or acknowledge that:

  • the information you provide is true, complete and current to the best of your knowledge;
  • you have reviewed the current information for your chosen course, including its code, title, delivery arrangements, duration, location, schedule, entry requirements, training and assessment requirements, fees, additional costs and any licensing information;
  • you have had the opportunity to ask questions and obtain clarification before enrolling;
  • you understand that, before confirming enrolment, PTG reviews relevant existing skills and competencies, including language, literacy, numeracy and digital literacy, together with other entry or safety requirements, and advises you about the suitability of the training;
  • you will tell PTG about support needs or circumstances that may affect safe participation, and you understand reasonable adjustment cannot remove essential course or competency requirements; and
  • you will comply with reasonable attendance, participation, assessment, safety and conduct requirements communicated for your course.
02 Fees, withdrawals, refunds, RPL and credit Your financial and recognition options

By submitting your enrolment, you acknowledge that:

  • you have reviewed the course-specific fees, all known additional costs, payment terms and what is and is not included;
  • you have reviewed PTG's withdrawal, transfer and refund conditions before making a payment;
  • any payment obligation applying to you or an authorised third-party payer remains subject to the agreed written fee arrangement;
  • you may ask about Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer, and each process requires appropriate evidence and may be affected by training product or licensing rules; and
  • you may use PTG's complaints and appeals processes if you disagree with an adverse decision, including an assessment decision.
03 Unique Student Identifier and VET reporting USI verification and national training data

PTG collects and verifies Unique Student Identifiers and reports nationally recognised training data as required. By submitting your enrolment, you acknowledge that:

  • unless an approved exemption applies, PTG must have a valid, verified USI before issuing an AQF qualification or VET statement of attainment;
  • you authorise PTG to use the USI Registry System, including through aXcelerate, to verify a USI you provide;
  • separate permission is required if PTG is asked to search for, create or access information associated with your USI beyond ordinary verification;
  • your enrolment and outcome information may appear on your authenticated USI VET transcript; and
  • you must ensure the personal details supplied to PTG match the details recorded against your USI.
04 Privacy collection and permitted disclosures How enrolment information is handled

Paradigm Training Group (RTO 41059) collects personal and training information to assess and manage enrolment, provide training and assessment, offer support, maintain student records, meet reporting and contractual duties, and issue certification where requirements are met.

Information may be disclosed where authorised or required by law, standards or funding arrangements. Recipients may include the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER), Commonwealth and state or territory government departments, the Student Identifiers Registrar, VET regulators, funding bodies, auditors and contracted service providers. Where relevant and permitted, information may also be provided to a licensing authority or another party you have authorised.

VET data may be used for administration, regulation, monitoring, evaluation, statistics, research, surveys, data linkage, policy and workforce planning. You may ask PTG for access to or correction of personal information it holds, subject to applicable law and recordkeeping duties.

05 Government-funded training - if applicable Eligibility, evidence and student contribution

If your enrolment is subsidised, you declare or acknowledge that:

  • the funding program, eligibility conditions, evidence requirements, student contribution fees and possible effect on future training entitlements have been explained to you;
  • you will provide complete and genuine evidence and promptly tell PTG if a relevant circumstance changes;
  • funding approval is subject to PTG verification and the applicable government program rules, and is not guaranteed merely because this form is submitted;
  • false, incomplete or misleading information may affect enrolment or funding and may result in amounts becoming payable where permitted by the applicable arrangements; and
  • your details and outcomes may be disclosed to the relevant government department for program administration, compliance, audit, evaluation and student survey purposes.
06 Employer or third-party arrangements - if applicable Authority must be clear and purpose-specific

PTG may need to communicate with an employer, apprenticeship or traineeship party, job network, funding body or another authorised payer where that party has a legitimate role in your training arrangement.

  • Any authority to disclose attendance, progress, results, support information or financial information must identify the recipient and purpose.
  • Information will be limited to what is reasonably required, authorised or required by law or contract.
  • Where disclosure relies only on your consent, you may withdraw that consent prospectively by contacting PTG in writing; this does not affect disclosures already made or disclosures otherwise authorised or required.
07 Images, recordings and assessment evidence Training records are separate from promotion

Photographs, video, audio or other records may be required for training administration, identity checks, safety, assessment evidence, validation, audit or regulatory purposes. Where a recording is required, PTG should explain the purpose, access, storage and any available alternative.

Consent for marketing, social media, testimonials or other promotional use is optional and must be requested separately. Declining or later withdrawing promotional consent will not affect enrolment or assessment. Withdrawal does not require PTG to retrieve material already lawfully published, but PTG will stop new promotional use where reasonably practicable.

08 Electronic submission and student declaration Your final confirmation

When you sign and submit the enrolment form, you confirm that:

  • you are the person named in the enrolment, or you are properly authorised to act for that person;
  • you have read and understood the declarations and notices presented to you, including all relevant conditional sections;
  • you have had a reasonable opportunity to ask questions and correct your information;
  • the electronic action, date, time and associated record may be retained in your student file as evidence of your submission and acknowledgements; and
  • if you are under 18, PTG may require information or authorisation from a parent, guardian or other responsible party where required by law, policy or the training arrangement.

Complete your student enrolment.

Work through every step and review your answers before submitting. Fields may change depending on the course and information you provide.

What happens next.

Submission begins PTG's review. Keep an eye on the email address you provide and respond promptly if more information is requested.

01

We review your information

PTG checks the enrolment, course selection, suitability, prerequisites and any funding or evidence requirements.

02

We contact you if needed

We may request clarification, identity or eligibility evidence, a pre-enrolment discussion, or completion of LLN and digital literacy activities.

03

Enrolment is confirmed

Once requirements are satisfied, PTG provides confirmation and the information you need to access and commence your training.

Training outcomes and AMSA certification are separate.

Where a PTG course supports an Australian Maritime Safety Authority certification pathway, successfully completing the training does not itself grant an AMSA certificate of competency. The student must separately satisfy the current AMSA eligibility, sea service, medical, eyesight, application, assessment and fee requirements that apply to the certificate sought.
