Prior to attending this workshop, you will be required to complete and provide a copy of the PTG workshop safety agreement to your trainer and assessor. Please note, this may be emailed or presented at your workshop.

Engineer Workshop:
- Long Sleeve Shirt

- Safety Glasses (provided)
- Enclosed Shoes
Vessel:
- Sunscreen
- Hat

For Fire Drills:
- Long Sleeve Shirt
- Long Pants
- Safety Glasses

For Water Drills:
- Clothes to get wet in, including swimsuit (similar to work gear)
- Dry clothes to change into

Day 1 - Sunday
Units - Vessel handling, introduction to collision regulations and navigation (MARK008, MARN009, MARI004 & MARH015, MARH016 & MARH017)
Day 2 - Monday
Units - Collision regulations and environmental practices (MARI004 & MARJ007)
Day 3 - Tuesday
Units - Navigation (MARH015, MARH016 & MARH017)
Day 4 - Wednesday
Units - Line handling, seamanship skills, vessel handling and wheelhouse equipment (BSBFLM303, MARN009, MARK008 & MARH017)
Day 5 - Thursday
Units - Maintenance, Slip, seamanship skills and dock a vessel and environmental practices (BSBFLM303, MARB029, MARB030, MARN009 & MARJ007)
Day 6 - Friday
Units - Vessel handling (BSBFLM303, MARK008, MARN009 & MARH017 - final assessments and review
Day - 7 Saturday
Units - Introduction and elements of shipboard safety (BSBFLM303, MARF027, MARF028, MARF029, MARF030)
Please note: as the training and assessment takes place in different scenarios including fire fighting, water survival and vessel handling, session days, times and locations may change due to weather or other risk factors. If sessions are changed, you will be notified before or during the workshop.
